[Rewarded Review] My watch now
SidraU· Review provided by bestbuy.com · December 29, 2024
I have been using the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s the perfect combination of affordability, functionality, and style.

Design: The watch looks sleek and fits comfortably on my wrist. The 40mm size is perfect for me, and I love the variety of bands Apple offers to customize the look. It feels durable and lightweight, making it easy to wear all day.

Performance: It’s incredibly responsive, and the apps load quickly. I primarily use it for notifications, fitness tracking, and timers, and it handles all these tasks flawlessly. The display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight.

Fitness Features: The fitness tracking is spot-on. I love the activity rings and how motivating they are. The heart rate monitoring and workout tracking are accurate, and it seamlessly syncs with my iPhone. I’ve started using the mindfulness features as well, which are a nice bonus.

Battery Life: The battery life is excellent—I can easily go a full day and still have around 30% left before I charge it overnight.

Price: Considering the features it offers, the SE is a fantastic value compared to the Series 8 or Ultra models. It has everything I need without the added cost of features like an always-on display or advanced health metrics.

Overall, the Apple Watch SE is a fantastic smartwatch for anyone who wants the core Apple Watch experience without breaking the bank. Whether you’re new to smartwatches or upgrading from an older model, I highly recommend it!
Apple Watch SE (2023) 44mm

Overall I am very satisfied with my watch. It does everything I need it to do. I picked it primarily because it was a cheaper alternative that still allowed me the majority of the functions from the higher end models. It runs fast, looks great. I’m very happy with my purchase. I will say this, had Verizon offered their new $10 monthly device plan for smart watches I probably would have spent the extra money and gotten the one that is not only GPS. At the time they didn’t offer this plan as an add on for prepaid customers and I was not about to pay for an entire additional line just to have data on my watch. So I guess that’s something to keep in mind when purchasing, check what type of plans your carrier offers as well as their costs when deciding between GPS %26 Cellular options for your watch. Another important consideration is the screen size. I originally ordered the smaller screen and the moment I put it on I took it off and returned it. Especially for men, the smaller watch size looks more like a toy and not an actual watch. Just a heads up. I guess if you’re smaller stature that could work for you, but me being 6ft tall looking at that toy screen on my wrist, it made me feel like I had just wasted the $200. Aside from those two things there’s really no way you could go wrong purchasing an Apple Watch. Any of the newer models are more than adequate. I previously owned a series 2 when it first came out. Used it for about a year and then dropped it. Had used an Apple Watch again until now. Obviously this watch was a huge upgrade from what I used previously. Not to mention I paid way less for this watch than I did for the series 2 version.

When you have the urge to buy a smartwatch look no further than Apple Watch SE especially since it’s cheaper than the other Apple Watches out there and It’s worth it for the money. it has lol the functions that other Apple Watches have. I brought the one with 40mm small medium so it looks fairly small on my hand because my hand is very small. It fits perfectly on hole 3.
One thing that I like about this watch is that the watch can work without WiFi or cellular since it has GPS connectivity which is awesome but the only thing is that you need to bring your phone with you because it’s connected with the iPhone without iPhone it won’t work. This Apple Watch the battery doesn’t seem to last long it dies quickly. Another downfall is that I can’t play music without it being connected to the iPhone it has to airplay it cannot play music on the Apple Watch when I connect my Bluetooth on the Apple Watch. But the good thing about this Apple Watch is that it has sleep track which can help me track my sleep. This is also the reason that made me want to buy an Apple Watch. It has its best uses you will know once you decide to get this Apple Watch. Even though it has its flaws it’s still worth the money. I suggest you to buy this Apple Watch.
New Apple smart watch

Previously I have used Fitbit but decided on a change. I already have an iPhone/ 2 iPads and 2 I iMacs so an obvious route to go.

I bought the cheapest one as could not afford to pay for the pricier models. Arrive well packed. Seamless to sync with my iPhone where I have the Apple watch app installed. It took awhile to get used to it as I was a user of amother well known brand. Now okay. So I go swimming in my local pool with no issues and just dry the watch when changing.
There is a feature to eject water from the watch but I cannot see any water when using it. I also use a feature that activates when you wash your hands to time for optimum hand washing cleaning.

The battery life is not as good as some other brands but I made a conscious decision not to wear it while in bed at night, so that is when it gets charged.

Also I use the walking and swimming features but as I am aged 66 not bothered with other workouts. Be aware that if you keep Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone then, incoming calls will go straight through to the watch. I have used the feature but find it strange answering calls this way. Texts and emails are notified on the watch if you enable these features which I have done.

So worth buying if you already use an iPhone.
