Don’t usually write reviews for Levi’s because most folks know they’re usually pretty good quality. And everyone knows the style, weight and fit can vary significantly between different styles that they make. I bought 4 different colors of this version of men’s 511 pants after purchasing a pair in store and decided to take the time to write a review because they are some of the nicest Levi’s that I’ve ever owned. The styles I bought were: New Khaki, Dark Hollow, Black 3D washed and Rinsed Playa. The material is medium weight cotton that is a little bit dressier than normal jeans and the fit is awesome (slim but not too tight) and they are tailored perfectly. Thank you Levis for an excellent product!

So I ordered 3 of these Levi’s 511 in 3 different colors. The first one, fit perfectly and I loved it. The second one was a different material but softer and a bit tight. The third one was totally a different material and didn’t feel nor fit as good as the first one. So while these are all the same size, all 511, and all bought at the same time yet they were all different which is mind boggling to say the least. I guess it’s better to go to the store and try them on first. I’d definitely buy more if the first pair.

Buying Levis on line is comparable to gambling. They are made all over the planet which amounts to rough zipper action, different thickness of denim, different fit depending on fabric blend, too long, a bit short and all of the above. Macy's advertises a certain fabric blend but that is not always what gets shipped, so regulating your fit by fabric blend won't be a safe bet. It's throwing away time and money if you don't you don't go to the store direct and see the merchandise. One Star on line experience.

I have two pairs of 511 slim-fit jeans in the color "It's all good". They fit completely differently from each other. The second pair that I received has so much stretch in them, that it's difficult to keep them up. I thought I had ordered the wrong style the second time, but there are no other styles in that color. It seems one pair is made with stretch in it and the first pair has no or very little stretch, which is prefered. How do I know in the future which I am receiving?
